Non-load-bearing poles are intended for lighting all types of sites. Brackets and luminaires are mounted on the poles; suspension of outdoor-lighting power cables is also permitted (the poles are used as intermediate supports).

Poles in this series must not be used as load-bearing poles.
Additionally, non-load-bearing poles may be used as masts for flagpoles, lightning rods, traffic signal poles, and road sign poles. Non-load-bearing poles from 6 m to 12 m high can also be equipped with a folding mechanism.
Non-load-bearing poles are designed to withstand only loads from mounted brackets and luminaires, as well as wind, snow, and ice loads applicable to the specified operating zone. Compliance with this requirement is provided for by the pole design.
